Welcome to Our School
Located in Reading St. James, Alcar Academy is a small private school founded in 2018 with the aim of creating a well-rounded learning environment. We cater to children ages 2 -18 in small class sizes and with well-trained educators.

Our institution is certified by the Early Childhood Commission (ECC) and the Ministry of Education, Jamaica. We are registered members of the Jamaica Independent Schools Association.

Having been one of the very first parents when Alcar Started, I have watch this incredible school, grow and flourish, under the amazing care and direction of Mrs. Allie-Brown and her team. The standard of education, the highest protocols, especially during this time, have only strengthened my conviction, this school, doesn’t just educate and grow, the students, it encourages and shares, the strong disciplines, that all our young people need, to step out into the world, hold their heads high, with confidence, and with knowledge.

We did not only find an excellent school for our daughter we found an excellent community at Alcar Academy. I can’t thank the principal and her staff enough for the joy and excitement my daughter has attending school and the peace of mind my husband and I have knowing she is an in environment where she can learn and grow in different areas of her education.
